What is Eventranet, and what does it do?
Eventranet is an onsite interactive service for delegates to access all their event needs in a digital format. Eventranet is a one stop portal that brings together similar onsite services like message boards, internet access, presentation downloads, event signage and news and presentation feeds. It is a completely paperless alternative to traditional event structures, it also provides any event with a modern service to a delegate market that is now smarter, more technically savvy and more connected than ever before.
How do I use this online system?
This portal allows you to search through sessions and events being held as part of the IUCN World Parks Congress 2014. From the Home screen you can view the programme in full, search via certain topics (i.e. sessions for a particular Stream) or search for sessions/events based on certain criteria or keywords. The portal also allows you to build your own personalised schedule which you can import into your calendar or save as a PDF and bring with you to the Congress.
How do I add a session/event to my own personalised schedule?
Firstly, click on the "Login" option at the top and create a new account or simply login if you already have your details. Once you have found a session/event you are interested in, click on it to pull up further information. Once the pop up box appears there will be an "Add to my schedule" option available.
If I add a session/event to my schedule how can I remove it?
On the schedule select the session you want to remove. The session outline will appear. Click the yellow star at the bottom of the box with "You are attending!". It will change back to a blank star with "Add to My Personal Schedule". You have now removed the session from your personal schedule. If you are using the table in 'My Schedule' you will need to refresh the page for the changes to appear.
How do I edit my details?
Open your "My Schedule" page.
Open "Update my personal details"
Make the required changes accordingly.
Once you've made changes click on the "Update my Details" button at the bottom of the page and these amendments will be saved.
Will there be any dedicated poster sessions at the IUCN World Parks Congress 2014?
The e-Poster presentations will take place during lunch breaks and after core programme hours (12.15pm - 1.15pm and 5.15pm - 6.15pm) across five days, from Thursday 13 November till Saturday 15 November, and Monday 17 November till Tuesday 18 November. Alternatively, the e-Posters can be accessed via this portal 24 hours a day.
Will this system be available after the Congress?
The Committee is yet to make the decision to continue this service after the Congress. Please stay tuned.
Can you download the e-Posters?
Yes, the Congress Committee has chosen, to allow downloads of e-Posters in PDF format. If you wish to seek further information from presenters on individual e-Posters please utilize the message service provided with the e-Poster system to contact the presenter directly.
What do I do if I'm having technical issues with this online portal?
If your query hasn't been answered above, please come and see us at the “MySchedule” booth or the e-Posters help desk on the mezzanine level of the Dome exhibition hall. How do I sign in to the Paperless Events App ?
The login details for the online programme and the app are different. Once you have downloaded the app, you need to register/sign up – which you can do within the app. You can create your own password, we do not automatically set this up for you.
